What is a SMART goal? How do you write an effective SMART goal?

It’s never too late to look at your life and ask yourself “Is my life really how I want it to be?”

Each new day can represent a new opportunity; setting goals can help us achieve these opportunities.

There are many different goal-setting tools available, but the ‘SMART GOALS’ technique is by far the simplest and the most popular.

A SMART goal should be:   

Specific
Measurable
Achievable
Realistic
Time-bound

The acronym is intended to help you to achieve success in personal and business matters.

You can start today by putting some time aside and thoroughly review your life as it currently stands. Then, once that is complete, take more time out to design your future.
